How to Make SeaFood Gambas

SeaFood Gambas Recipe
½ Serving
½ kilo tahong
½ kilo halaan
2 cups water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon clamansi juice
¼ teaspoon ground pepper
½ cup all purpose flour
1 egg, beaten
½ cup bread crumbs
½ cup cooking oil for frying
1 tablespoon cooking oil for sauteing
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup red kidney beans, boiled
1 can tomato sauce buffet size
Clam broth
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup diced red bel pepper

Boil tahong and halaan in water until just open. Remove meat from shell. Marinate seafood in soy sauce, clamansi juice and pepper for 30 minutes.

Dredge in flour, egg and breadcrumbs. Heat oil and fry the seafood. Drain.

Saute garlic and onions in the 1 tablespoon oil. Add softened beans, tomato sauce and broth. Season with salt. Add bell peppers then stir in fried seafoods. Serve hot. End.
