How to Make Greek Turkey Burger

Ingredients: Makes 4 burgers
1 pound ground turkey
2/3 cup plain bread crumbs
1 large egg
1 tablespoon greek seasoning
2 tablespoons butter, softened
4 onion rolls, split
1 cup feta and spinach flavored spreadable cheesse
12 cucumber slices
4 tomato slices
4 red onion slices

Procedures:
  • In a large bowl, combine turkey, bread crumbs, egg, and Greek seasoning. Form mixture into 4 patties, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Spray grill rack with nonstick nonflammable cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium high heat (350 degree to 400 degree)
  • Grill burgers, covered with grill lid, for 5 to 8 minutes on each side, or until an instant read thermometer inserted in center of patty reads 165 degree.
  • Spread butter evenly on cut sides of onion rolls. Grill rolls, cut side down, for 1 to 2 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Spread 2 tablespoons spreadable cheese on each bottom half and top half of onion rolls. Top bottom halves of each onion roll with 3 cucumber slices, 1 turkey patty. 1 tomato slice. And 1 red onion slice. Cover with onion roll tops. Serve immediately. End.
