Shrimp Hust Puppies Recipe
Ingredients: 6 to 8 Serving
1 cup milk
2 eggs
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup flour
1 cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon dried thyme
¼ teaspoon ground pepper
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1 kilo shrimp(cleaned and chopped)
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
½ cup chopped scallions
5 cups vegetable oil for frying
Procedures:
Ingredients: 6 to 8 Serving

Procedures:
- In a deep bowl, whisk together milk, eggs and butter until well combined. Add remaining ingredients except oil and whisk gently until evenly incorporated.
- Wrap in plastic film and put inside the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to rest.
- In a wok or skillet, heat oil until hot but not smoking.
- With a tablespoon, form shrimp mixture into dumplings and fry 2 to 3 piece at a time in hot oil. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels. Serve with lemon wedges on the side. End.
