How to Grilled Whole Chicken

Grilled Whole Chicken Recipe with Sandra Lee
Ingredients: Makes 4 servings
2 tablespoons Greek seasoning
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon seasoned pepper
1 (3 ½ to 4 pound) whole fryer chicken
1 lemon, halved
Garnish: lemon halves and fresh parsley

Procedures:
  • Place a disposable aluminum pan under grill rack on one side of grill. Spray grill raack with nonstick nonflmmable cooking spray, and place on grill preheat other side of grill to medium high heat (350 degree to 400 degree); leave drip pan side unlit.
  • Sprinkle greek seasoning, garlic powder, and seasoned pepper over chicken. Place lemon halves in cavity of chicken.
  • Place chicken on unlit side of grill, and grill, covered with grill lid, for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted into thickest part of thinh registers 165 degree. Let chicken stand for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with lemon halves and fresh parsley, if desired. End.
