How to Make Fish Quekiam

Fish Quekiam Recipe
Ingredients: Serving Portion: 2 pieces / Weight per serving portion: 100 grams
½ kilo fish meat, deboned and chopped (any white fish)
¼ kilo shrimp, chopped
1 egg, well beaten
½ cup chopped singkamas
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup chopped celery
½ cup chopped carrots
½ cup all purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoons nguyong powder
½ teaspoon ground pepper
1 ½ teaspoons salt
Taupe sheets(divided into 3 parts), or aluminum foil
Cooking oil for fyring
Chinese five spice powder
Brownish cellophane wrapper made from soyabeans

  • Combine all ingrediensts throughly except taupe sheets and oil.
  • Divide mixture into 12 portions and place individually in taupe sheet or foil. Form the mixture into a long roll and wrap.
  • Deep fry in hot cooking oil until golden brown.
  • Serve with sweet sour sauce. End.
