How to Make Turkey N Dressing Burger

Turkey N Dressing Burger Recipe with Paula Deen
Ingredients: Makes 9 burgers
1 (7 ounce) package cornbread mix
1 tablespon butter
½ cup finely chopped onion
½ cup finely chopped celery
2 pounds ground turkey
2 teaspoon poulty seasoning
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon rubbed sage
1 large egg, lightly beaten
9 potato buns, halved
Creanberry Ketchup(recipe follows)
4 ½ cups fresh babay arugula

Procedures:
  • Prepare cornbread mix according to package directions for an 8 inch pan. Bake and let cool completely; crumble into a large bowl.
  • In a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and celery; cook, stirring occasionally, for 4 to 5 minutes or until tender. Let cool completely.
  • Spray grill with nonstick nonflammable cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium high heat (350 to 400 degree)
  • To crumbled cornbread, add turkey, next 3 ingredients, and onion mixture. Add egg, stirring well to combine. Divide mixture into 9 equal portions; shape each portion into a 5 inch patty.
  • Grill patties, covered with grill lid, for 4 to 5 minutes per side or until a thermometer inserted in thickest portion registers 165 degree. Grill buns, cut sides down, for 1 to 2 minutes or until toasted.
  • Spread Crambery Ketchup over bottom halves of buns. Top each with a patty, additional Cranberry Ketchup and arugula. Cover with bun tops. Serve immediately.
Cranberry Ketchup
Ingredients: makes 2 cups
1 (14 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
½ cup ketchup
2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon whole grain mustard

Procedures:
In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cook, stirring occasionally, over medium low heat for 15 minutes. Remove from heat, and let cool slightly. Serve warm or cold. Cover and refrigerate up to 5 days. End.
