How to Make Meaty Chicken Nuggets

Meaty Chicken Nuggets Recipe
Ingredients: 4 serving
For Nuggets:
Breast of 1 whole chicken, deboned
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon calamansi juice
1/8 teaspoon pepper
All purpose flour
2 eggs, slightly beaten
Cooking oil

  • Tenderize chicken breast by pounding with a mallet or the back a knife or by rolling meat tenderizer over it. Combine soy sauce, calamansi juice and pepper and marinate chicken for about 30 minutes.
  • Cut chicken breast into rectangualar pieces about 1 ½ by 1 inch.
  • Coat each piece with flour.
  • Dip each piece in eggs then inbreadcrumbs. Make sure the coating is even but not too thick.
  • Heat cooking oil in frying pan. Deep fry chicken until golden brown. Serve with dipping sauce.
For Dipping Sauce:
½ cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon mustard
2 to 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste.

To Make the dipping Sauce: Mix together mayonnaise, garlic, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Note: you may also serve the chicken nuggets with barbecue sauce or with sweet and sour sauce.
