Peach Ginger Margaritas Recipe

Ingredients: Make 4 to 6 serving
2 cups peach nectar
½ cup fresh lemon juice
½ cup firmly packed ligh brown sugar
2 tablespoons peeled and thinly sliced fresh ginger
5 cups ice, divided
3 cups peeled, pitted, and diced fresh peaches, divided
½ cup silver tequila, divided

  • In a medium saucepan,stir together peach nectar, lemon juice, brown sugar, and ginger. Bring to a low boil over medium heat. Cook for 10 minutes into a bowl, strain mixture through a fine wire mesh strainer, discarding ginger. Cool completely.
  • On a small plate, pour a small amount fo tequila. On another small plate, pour salt. Dip rims of glasses in tequila; dip rims in salt, and let stand to dry.
  • In the container of blender, place half of peach nectar mixture, 2 ½ cups ice, 1 ½ cups diced peaches, and ¼ cup tequila, process until smooth. Pour into prepared glasses. Repeat procedure with remaining ingredients. Serve immediately. End
