Bacon and Asiago Cheese Straws

Ingredients: Makes about 2 ½ dozen
4 slices bacon
1 (17.3 ounce) box frozen puff pastry, thawed
½ cup grated Asiago cheese

1 (17.3 ounce) box frozen puff pastry, thawed
½ cup grated Asiago cheese
Procedures:
- Preheat oven to 400 degree. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp; remove bacon, and drain on paper towels. Crumble bacon.
- On alightly floured surface, roll out each sheet of puffy pastry into a 14x12 inch rectangel. Sprinkle one sheet iwth cheese and bacon. Top with remaining sheet of puff pastry. Roll lightly with a rolling pin, pressing sheets together. Cut into 1 inch wide strips; place on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely. Store in airtigh containers for up to 2 days.
