Healthy Nilagang Pata ng Baboy Recipe

  • 1/2 kilo pork pata (front leg or pork hind), cut into serving pieces
  • 1 large potato, cut into serving portion 
  • 8-10 piece baguio beans or stings beans 
  • 1 large onion, cut into 
  • 4 pieces 
  • 2 pieces saba banana (optional) 
  • 1 medium sized cabbage half 
  •  2 bundle petchay pepper corn 
  • 4-5 cup of water Salt or fish sauce

  • In a pot, put the pork and water.Bring to boil.Add onion, cover and wait until the pork is tender (approximately 1 hour).add potato and simmer
  • Add baguio beans and simmer for about 1-2 minutes
  • Add salt or fish sauce according to your desired taste.
  • Add cabbage or petchay. (Make sure that the veggies are not overcooked)
