Tinulang manok or Chicken Soup Recipe Philippine Cuisine
Ingredients: serve 6
1 thumb sized pc ginger
2 cloves garlic
40g onion
250g green papaya
2tbsp cooking oil
1,500g chicken breast, bone in
2 tbsp fish souce(patis)
10 cups water or chicken broth
10g salt
15g chili leaves
6 green solo papayas(optional)

Procedures:
Peel and cut the ginger crosswise into thin slices

Crush, peel and mince the garlic

Peel and chop the onion finely

Peel the green papaya and cut evenly into wedges.

COOKING:
In a preheated pan, salute ginger, garlic, and the onion in cooking oil.

Add the chicken breast.

Season with fish sauce. Add the chicken broth and boil. Reduce heat and simmer until chicken is cooked.

Removed the chicken breast and cool. Debone. Carefully cut meat into 2.5 cm or 1 inch cubes. Set aside.

Strain the broth and return to the pot.

Just before serving, bring the broth to a boil again. Add the papaya wedges and cook until tender. Add the chicken. Adjust seasoning.

Lastly add chili leaves. End.
