Beef Salpicao (Garlic Butter Beef Stir-Fry) Recipe
Ingredients:- 500g beef sirloin or tenderloin (cut into cubes, bite-size)
- 6–8 cloves garlic (minced or sliced thin)
- 3 tbsp olive oil (or butter + oil combination)
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional, for a slight kick)
- 1 tbsp butter (for finishing)
- Spring onions (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Marinate beef – In a bowl, combine beef cubes, Worcestershire sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and black pepper. Mix well and marinate for at least 15–30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high. Fry the garlic until golden brown and crisp, then set aside.
- In the same pan, sear the beef quickly (about 1–2 minutes per side) until browned but still tender. Avoid overcooking.
- Add the remaining marinade into the pan. Toss the beef until the sauce slightly reduces.
- Stir in butter and mix well for a glossy finish.
- Top with toasted garlic and garnish with spring onions.
