How to Make Rice Timbales

Rice Timbales Recipe with Sandra Lee
Ingredients: Makes 6 serving
2 cups instant rice
2 cups chicken broth
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Garnish: fresh flat leaf parsley sprigs

Procedures:
  • Spray 6 (4 ounce) ramekins or custard cups with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a medium microwave safe bowl, combine rice and broth. Prepare according to package directions.
  • Stir in butter, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Divide rice mixture evenly (about ¾ cup each) among prepared ramekins, packing gently; invert onto plates. Garnish withparsley sprigs, if desired. End.
