Super Easy Restaurant Cheese Dip

Ingredients: Makes 12 to 15 serving
2 tablesoons butter
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
2 jalapenos, seeded and minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chiles, drained
1 pound yellow American Cheese, cut into ½ inch chunks
1 pound white Amereican Cheese, cut into ½ inch chunks
2 cups half and half
1 tablespoon groun cumin
½ teaspoon ground hipotle chile pepper
Assorted tortilla chips

Procedures:
- In a large dutch oven, melt butter oven medium heat. Add onion jalapenos and garlic, and cook for 5 to 6 minutes or unti oinion is tender stir in green chiles.
- Reduce heat to low. Stir in cheeses, half and half, cumin, and chipotle chile pepper. Cook, stirring frequently, for 25 to 30 minutes or until cheeses melt and mixture is smooth. Serve cheese dip with tortilla chips.
