Grill New yorks Strips Steaks

8 (1 ½ inch thick) new york strip steaks
2 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon ground back pepper
Garnish: fresh parsley sprigs

Procedures:
- Spray grill rack with nonsticks nonflammable cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium high heat (350 to 400) sprinkle both sides of steaks evenly with salt and pepper.
- Grill steaks, covered with grill lid, for 7 to 9 minutes on each side, or to desired degree of dineness. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
