How to Make Grilled Prepperoni and Spinach Pizzas

Individual Grilled Prepperoni and Spinach Pizzas Recipe with Sandra Lee
Ingredients: Makes 6 servings
1 (12 ounce) package English mufflins, split
12 tablespoons marinara sauce
36 fresh spinach leaves (about 2 cups)
12 large pepperoni slices
12 mozzarella cheese slices
Garnish: thinly sliced fresh spinach

Procedures:
  • Spray grill rack with nonstick nonflammable cooking spray. Preheat grill to high heat (400 degree to 450 degree). Grill Englsih muffin halves, split sides down, covered with grill lid, for 2 minutes. Using grill tongs, carefully remove english mufflin halves from grill to baking sheets, grilled sides up.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon marinara sauce on grilled side of each English muffin half. Top eah evenly with spinach, pepperoni, and mazzarella slices. Return pizzas to grill. Grill, covered with grill lid, for 4 to 5 minutes, or until cheese melts. Top with sliced spinach, if desired.
  • To bake in oven: preheat oven to 425 degree on baking sheet, place English muffins. Prepare pizzas according to directions. Bake for 4 to 6 minutes, or until cheese melts. Ends.
